Legendary British alternative rock band Skunk Anansie will perform at Luka Beograd on July 17, in a concert organized by Long Play. The show will mark the band's second appearance in Belgrade, following their 2010 performance in the Serbian capital. They return to Serbia for the first time in ten years, having previously headlined the sixth Arsenal Fest in Kragujevac in 2016.

Formed in London in 1994, Skunk Anansie became one of the most influential bands of the alternative rock scene, renowned for their powerful blend of rock, metal, punk and funk, as well as the commanding voice and magnetic stage presence of frontwoman Skin. The current lineup also features Cass (bass, backing vocals), Ace (guitar, backing vocals) and drummer Mark Richardson.

Speaking recently about the band's live performances, Skin said: "We're a band that belongs to the people. People identify with what we have to say and the way we say it. There's a lot of authenticity in this band – there's no pretending. People enjoy our concerts because we give them everything we've got."

The band rose to international prominence with their debut album Paranoid & Sunburnt (1995), followed by Stoosh (1996), which produced classic tracks including "Weak," "Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good)," and "Charity." Their third studio album, Post Orgasmic Chill, was released in 1999 before the band split in 2001. Skunk Anansie reunited in 2009 and have since released Wonderlustre (2010), Black Traffic (2012), Anarchytecture (2016), and their latest album, The Painful Truth (2025).
