The .abeceda Institute has announced an open call for participation in the international residency program “precept.concept.percept XVII”, intended for composers, performers, and conductors.
The program precept.concept.percept XVII is designed as a year-long collaborative process between creators and performers, aimed at developing and presenting new musical works.
The residency focuses on a dynamic and collaborative creative process in which composers and performers work closely together on new compositions. Composers are invited to present, theorize, and refine their works, while performers form an ensemble to engage with new scores, develop their skills, and participate in the premiere performances.
The program is structured in three phases: a series of online workshops throughout 2026, followed by a final residency and rehearsals in Bled (Slovenia) in January 2027, culminating in a performance at the Bled Contemporary Music Week festival.
The application deadline is April 15, 2026, and more information is available on the official website.
The call is open to all artists interested in advancing their practice through international collaboration and contemporary artistic approaches.
