On July 4 2026, the group Kalem will perform an open-air concert in Gunjaci, in the unique setting of the Vodeničarkino selo (Miller Woman's Village). In addition to the concert, guests will enjoy a selection of food and beverages provided by the event partner, Koza Nostra. The event “Kalem at Vodeničarkino selo” in Gunjaci offers a perfect blend of music, nature, and enjoyment. The intimate atmosphere characteristic of Kalem's performances will be enhanced by the natural acoustics and ambient sounds of Jankovića jaruga (Janković's Ravine), where the village is nestled.

Beneath the open sky, accompanied by the rustling of treetops and the gentle murmur of the stream, the timeless sounds of folk music will intertwine with the landscape to create a truly memorable experience.

The ravine's exceptional acoustics allow guests to enjoy the performance from various locations throughout the village. The concert can be experienced from close to the stage, but also from numerous resting spots situated both below and above the performance area.

This unique concept adds a new dimension to the concert experience. As the duo moves through its repertoire, listeners are invited to wander through the surroundings – from the stage to the stream, the watermill, the waterfall, and deep into the forest – discovering the music from ever-changing perspectives.

Kalem is an acoustic duo that reinterprets the rich heritage of Balkan folk music through violin, guitar, and vocals.

Their performances breathe new life into traditional melodies through a contemporary traditionalist approach, attracting millions of views across social media and streaming platforms.

Among their most renowned interpretations are “Moj golube” (My Dove), recorded during a performance at the Youth Center of Belgrade, and “Imam jednu želju” (I Have One Wish), which reached a global audience through the BBC series “Wild Cherry”.

This special experience is further enriched by Koza Nostra, the event organizer and producer of exceptional artisanal cheeses, which will be served alongside wine, cocktails, and other food and beverages before and after the concert.
