Exhibition “Klečeći kadar” (Kneeling Frame) at RTS Club, April 15–28

The exhibition of concert photography Klečeći kadar (“Kneeling Frame”), developed as a result of a previously announced open call, will be held from April 15 to 28, 2026 at RTS Klub. The opening is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at 6 PM (Radio Belgrade building, entrance from Svetogorska Street).

The open call, launched by the Modernator Association with the support of the Foto savez Srbije, was addressed to professional photographers, students, and photography enthusiasts. It invited submissions capturing concerts, festivals, and music performances (from rock shows to DJ sets), aiming to present the energy of music through the lens of photography.

More than 100 applications were received from various cities in Serbia, the region, and abroad. The selection was made by a professional jury consisting of el gvojos, Vera Miljković, and Jelena Balević.

The exhibition also features invited photographers: Aleksa Stanković, Branislav Brkić, el gvojos, Anamarija Vartabedijan, Stanislav Milojković, Zoran Mojsin, Imre Sabo, Brajan Rašić, Danica Trajković, Vukica Mikača, Igor Mandić, Danko Strahinić, Darija Dželetović, Aleksandra Ignjatović, Vera Miljković, Duško Vukić, and Wood RS.

Concert photography, as a discipline that developed alongside popular music, captures moments at the intersection of sound, light, and movement, transforming ephemeral events into lasting visual records. From the space between stage and audience–often from a “kneeling” perspective–photographers create images that convey the energy of contemporary music scenes.

The exhibition Klečeći kadar is dedicated to concert photographers as often unseen yet essential witnesses of musical events, whose work shapes the way we remember and experience contemporary culture.
