Etnofest is a world music festival that has been held in Palić and Subotica since 2004, and whose programming character is most often read as alternative and different compared to festivals in the nearest region.
Most often in the third week of June, Letnja pozornica (Summer stage) and Velika terasa (Big terrace) in Palić become home to artists from different meridians. So far we have hosted many famous regional names and listened to music from other continents: Huun Huur Tu (Tuva, Russia), Ebo Taylor & The Afrobeat Academy (Ghana, Germany), Garifuna Collective (Belize), BaBa ZuLa (Turkey), Vlatko Stefanovski trio (North Macedonia), Orthodox Celts (Serbia), Tamara Obrovac & Transhistria Ensemble (Croatia, Italy, Slovenia), Teofilović Brothers (Serbia), La Troba Kung-Fu (Spain), Fatima Spar und die Freedom Fries (Austria, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine), Chalaban (Morocco, Hungary), Lajko Felix (Serbia), Mizar (North Macedonia), Black Flower (Belgium) and others.
Although the concerts are the backbone of Etnofest, documentary films broadcasts, exhibitions, photography, film and music workshops are also organized at the festival. The organizer of the festival is the Etnofest Association, and its artistic director is Dejan Vujinović.
