Belgrade-based progressive rock group ИБАR proudly presents their new single and music video, “Košava”.
The track is an ode to the city of Belgrade, where the band lives and creates. The accompanying video conveys a sense of hope, imagining the Košava wind bringing a breath of fresh air at a time when new currents are sweeping through Serbia’s capital.
“Košava” is the first release from ИБАR's upcoming second album, “Ruža vetrova”, following their acclaimed debut, “Prevrnu se vedro nebo”, released at the end of 2023.
Each composition on “Ruža vetrova” is named after a different wind, transforming them into musical impressions inspired by the widely recognized air currents characteristic of various regions.
The single’s launch event will take place on April 4, 2026, at Belgrade’s Kontrapunkt club.
The members of ИБАR are: Gavrilo Mrđa (vocals, guitar), Igor Mitić (guitar), Luka Arežina (bass guitar), and Stefan Pejatović (drums).
The video was directed by Igor Mitić, with color correction handled by Stefan Pejatović. The audio was recorded by Dušan Filimonović and Luka Arežina, and mixed and mastered by Dušan Filimonović.
The song and video were released on March 21 on the band’s official YouTube channel.
