Thrash metal legends Anthrax have included Belgrade in their European tour, to the great excitement of metal fans across the region. The band, widely known as one of the “Big Four” of thrash metal alongside Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth, will perform on May 29, 2026, at the OpenAir Corner of Luka Beograd.
This will be the first standalone concert by Anthrax in Serbia. Local audiences previously had the chance to see the band at Arsenal Fest in Kragujevac in 2017, but the Belgrade show will offer a full concert experience by one of the most influential names in the history of thrash metal.
With a career spanning more than four decades, Anthrax have sold over 10 million albums worldwide and left a lasting mark on the development of the heavy metal scene. Their sound combines powerful riffs, sharp energy, melodic force and an unmistakable stage presence.

From their debut album “Fistful of Metal” to their later releases, Anthrax have remained one of the most respected and energetic live bands in heavy music. Their Belgrade concert is expected to bring together several generations of fans who grew up with the band’s uncompromising sound.
