The artistic duo Alice in WonderBand has launched an expansive 2026 tour, presenting material from their upcoming album “The Courage to be Afraid”, scheduled for release at the end of 2026.
The tour began close to home in Novi Sad, with a performance for children on February 6, followed by a seminar for students from the University of Lyon held in Sremski Karlovci on February 11, and a home concert in Novi Sad on February 28.
In March, the duo will perform and hold workshops in Zrenjanin, Subotica, Ruma, Ljubljana, and Banja Luka, before continuing the tour with concerts in Italy, Germany, Poland, and Croatia.
Genre-wise, the songs from “The Courage to be Afraid” remain rooted in world music, yet sonically they expand beyond the duo’s previous soundscape.
The album features collaborations with a diverse group of international artists: Ildiko Kali (Slovakia), Vilma Talvitie (Finland), the vocal ensemble Milanoš (Czech Republic), Vladimir Mićković (Croatia/Bosnia), Jelena Soro (Slovenia/Serbia), Berke Jijit Satilmiš (Turkey), and Bavarian Immigrants (Germany).
Collaborations with Polish artists Julia Levandowska and Łukasz Malok appear both on the new album and in the creation of the new quartet Slavyk, which is also releasing an album this year.
Some upcoming 2026 tour dates include: Concert at Zona Club, Zrenjanin (March 7), Concert and workshop in Subotica (March 14), Art Trema Fest, Ruma (March 25), Kavč Festival, Ljubljana (March 26), Aplauz Fest, Banja Luka (March 30), Concert and workshop at CZK Ribnjak, Zagreb (May 9), Children’s workshops in Munich (August 3–7), Concert in Ortenburg, Germany (November 13) etc.
