The jubilee, the 20th world music festival Etnofest will be held on The Grand Terrace in Palić, from June 22 to 25, 2023.
“We are of the humble opinion that for 20 years, Etnofest has been the greatest event that Subotica has, in terms of music, and with the highest quality. In the continuity, we unwaveringly insist on musical professionalism. Our approach is proven with sincere intentions to deal with culture and exclusively with culture, without elevating or adapting to current social and even political trends” – says Dejan Vujinović, artistic director of the festival.
At the same time, Etnofest is an unprecedented music event on the territory of Serbia, in the world music domain. This time the festival is held only on The Grand Terrace in Palić and starts on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Artists from several countries (Serbia, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Morocco, North Macedonia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Russia…) perform during four concert evenings at the festival. They will lead us on various musical paths, bringing the unexpected music of Africa and the music of the Balkans and the Pannonian Basin that surrounds us.
Entrance to the festival is (unfortunately) free, as in previous years, but the recommended voluntary contribution per concert evening will be 500 RSD.
