A concert in memory of Marina Stefanović (1960 – 2021), journalist, music editor and author of the cult TV show “Art fantazija”, will be held at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture “Ruski dom” (ul. Kraljice Natalije 33) in Belgrade, on Friday, March 17, starting at 7 p.m.

The organizers of the concert emphasize in the announcement that Marina Stefanović was an exceptional figure in the field of culture, a protector of real musical values and an unwavering fighter for culture. She believed that journalism, music and television are the “trinity” that will bring classical music closer to the audience even to those without formal musical education because classical music is an elixir that can never be fully understood due to the fact that each performance is different.

Marina Stefanović left the world of culture on the first day of spring in 2021. That’s why the program of the concert in her honour is composed of works that are thematically related to spring.

The program of the concert “In Memory of Marina” includes works by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Viardot, Massenet, Satie and Nastasijević.

The performers are: Vesna Kršić Sekulić (piano), Miomira Vitas (mezzo-soprano), Teuta Aslani (soprano), and Jana Cvetković (alto).

The entrance is free.
